HSE Entitlements

From 1st January 2025, the HSE have standardised their allowances for Mastectomy bras, prosthesis and swimwear for all post mastectomy or lumpectomy patients throughout the 26 counties of Ireland.    This applies to all patients regardless of medical card status.  This does not apply to patients who have had reconstruction.

The annual allowance is for:

2 x bras

1 x prosthesis

1 x swimsuit

1 x swim prosthesis

To avail of this you will need a GP/consultant letter.

We will also need your PPS and medical card (if applilcable) number.
