How did we end up in the wonderful world of compression garments?  This is a question we are regularly asked!

Very simply we were at a medical trade show walked around a corner and there was a lovely pull up roller sign with a fashionable leg sporting polka dot tights!  The text said "helps prevent varicose veins".  It wasn't something we had seen in Ireland - compression stockings are normally seen as boring and beige worn.

Suddenly we were hooked in the world of compression garments - preventative, venous, odema, lymphedema.  It was "a whole new world" and so interesting.

We have been on a journey and met some lovely people.

In our blog we are going to try and demystify the world of compression garments and if you do wear compression garments - we will introduce you to all the options - it really is like a box of chocolates.

Rather than viewing compression garments as a curse - be a glass half full type of person - embrace compression and lets go on the journey together.
